I. The following preliminary requirements shall be considered as minimum evidence satisfactory to the office of professional licensure and certification that an applicant is qualified for licensure to practice architecture in this state:
(a) Applicant shall be at least 21 years of age and shall have graduated from an approved high school or its equivalent; and
(b) Applicant shall hold a professional degree in architecture from an accredited school and have had such diversified practical experience, including academic training, as the board shall deem appropriate; or
(c) In lieu of a professional degree in architecture, the office may accept evidence of additional diversified practical experience, including academic training, as the board shall deem appropriate.
