If any provision of this chapter, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of this chapter, and to that end, the provisions of this chapter are declared to be severable. Each section of this chapter shall be severable from all other sections hereof and the nullification of any section of this chapter shall have no effect on the remaining sections of this chapter.
