Introduction

The office of bar admissions is responsible for administering the bar admission process and supporting the functions of the board of bar examiners and character and fitness committee as set forth below. The office of bar admissions is a division within the administrative office of the courts.

I. Board of Bar Examiners

     (a)  Board of Bar Examiners Established.  A board of bar examiners (board) will be appointed by the court to examine persons desiring to be admitted to the bar of New Hampshire.  The board shall consist of no fewer than thirteen members of the New Hampshire bar.  Appointments to the board shall be for terms of three years, and members shall be eligible for reappointment.
